Two things about our November event: one, we'll be celebrating our two year anniversary so their very well could be some sort of cake-related product, hell, maybe their will be champagne and singing and more general revelry than usual. Two, one of our favorite books of 2018 is Nona Casper's glorious The Fifth Woman, and we are excited, so so excited, to have her in person to read and sign books and talk about why she wrote this beautiful, surreal and stunningly sad book about grief.
It's nearly that time of year again - when the streets of San Francisco's Mission District fill, for one fever dream of an evening, with readers and writers of all stripes. Yup, it's Lit Crawl. We've brought together a real doozy of a line-up to chew on the theme of COLLAPSE. There's a lot going on, but do any of the other ones have a limited supply of free beer? Oh, they do. Well, come anyways.
We've finally just given in and decided that if all of our readings are going to skew to towards the bleaker, more disturbing side of things, then why not just throw the door open and give our writers the chance to really indulge? Thus: The Racket #23: THE DARK featuring James Cagney, Keith Donnell, Wesley Cohen, Luiza Flynn-Goodlet, Sageand Ash Fisher. It'll be, well, we're guessing pretty dark.
