THE RACKET : PLAYLIST 47 - Color jangles.
We’re off to a tropical locale tomorrow and the idea was to create a playlist that brought you along into the sun and tanning oil and banana hammocks.
As it turns out it’s a dry few months for tropical tunes, and so instead this is, if you want to even attempt to put shape to it, a sonic interpretation of the rainbow reflection thrown by your downstairs neighbor’s crystal dreamcatcher.
It’s got a little energy to it, a little sparkle, but it jumps and skips as the wind hits it, spraying it all across all the many surfaces indoor or out. It’s a rainbow at a gallop. A color wheel rolled out in staccato.
