THE RACKET : LIST 23 - Some Hope.

List 23 isn’t an attempt to capture the mood of the last month. If it was it’d be whatever music is equivalent to sonic spears painfully inserted into year over and over again until you are begging for the deafening cleanse of silence. And then when you get that silence, it’s so different, so outside of what has become your normal, you struggle to trust it. You squint your eyes and look off into the distance and wonder, “When will it come back?”

No, we’re good on that.

Instead, this is a basketful of chill. Just slightly upbeat tunes you can quietly nod your head to while you’re trying to process whatever it is we’ve been through in the last four years. Okay, so maybe the first song is quietly triumphant and maybe there’s a couple tinges of hope buried in the end bits. But, let’s just capture for one brief moment, that there was some sort of relief.
